Red snapper season is officially underway in federal Gulf waters!
Texas anglers have been enjoying an extended season this year thanks to the earlier opening date, May 22, providing more opportunities to get offshore and target one of the Gulf's most popular game fish.

β’ Open year-round
β’ 4 red snapper per person per day
β’ 15-inch minimum size limit
