Objective:
Seeking a Motivated Individual who wants to work a round-the-clock weekend shift as a Housekeeper/Laundry/Office Assistant for a motel that is looking to streamline their business!
Job Description:
Ensure that all necessary tasks are complete in a timely and professional manner. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with repeat clients/vendors. Successful candidates will be driven, ethical, communicative, able to work independently, and adaptable.
Basic Duties:
Housekeeping
- Work as a team with coworkers
- Strip rooms of trash & linen
- Clean maid service rooms as they are requested
- Attend to basic housekeeping requests
- Clean dirty rooms before 3pm check in
- Give rooms a once over before marking them as clean
- Keep cleaning carts stocked with supplies
- Upkeep cleanliness of storage rooms
- Ensure cleaning machines are in good working order
- Deep Clean rooms as needed
Trash
- Pick up trash as you see it
- Empty outside trash bins
- Take trash to dumpster
Laundry
- Wash and fold laundry
- Upkeep cleanliness of laundry room
Office
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Book phone, walk in, and online reservations
- Ensure rooms are clean and ready for guests before arrival
- Answer and make phone calls
- Send and receive emails
- Be vigilant of what is occurring on the property
- Be able to ask trespassers to leave private property
- Be able to enforce disruptive guests to vacate
- Keep office clean and organized
- Must be available to assist guests at all hours
- Be willing and able to adapt to all circumstances
- Stay polite, friendly, and professional
Keep open communication with management
- Report maintenance issues
- Pass on complaints
- Notate damages
- Give suggestions on improvements
Schedule:
Full time
One shift
Fri 6pm - Sun 9pm
* Required to stay on-site
* Required to sleep on-site
Work the weekend and free up your weekdays!
Schedule hours may change as needed
Compensation:
14 day trial period at $13.25/hr.
$14.25/hr. after 14 days
Up to $20/hr. based on proven skill
Bonus $30/day for working overnight
Paid hours are from 7am - 11pm
Paid Every Other Friday

Be okay with getting your hands dirty / cleaning up gross messes
Be willing and able to take direction
Be flexible with plan changes
Make a daily effort to improve the property
Make a daily effort to improve yourself and grow with us
Be polite and professional
Be proactive - plan ahead
Must be able to interpret various verbal and written instructions
Preference Goes to:
6 months+ in administrative services answer phones/emails/questions or finding answers and getting back to the person
6 months+ working in motel, hotel, apartment, or other housing based customer service industry
6 months+ working in housekeeping, restaurant, or retail customer service position
Someone interested in pursuing a career in motel management and operations
Background in Business, Accounting, Marketing, Communication, or Psychology
Requirements:
Be 18+ years of age
Possess valid Oregon Drivers License
Reliable vehicle
Ability to pass State/Federal background check
Pre-Employment drug screening
