Camp Kirksey 16-acre retreat located 6 miles northeast of Albany off GA Hwy 300. Kamp Kirksey is a 16-acre retreat located 6 miles northeast of Albany off GA Hwy 300.

The camp houses a Bathhouse, Dining Hall with seating for 180, a full commercial kitchen and a Lodge that can accommodate 30 men and 30 women. In between the two sections of the Lodge are four counselor's rooms, each with twin beds and a private bath. There is also a common area with sofas and chairs. In September, 2004 construction of Wilson Chapel was completed. This chapel has since been used f

or Wedding ceremonies, worship services and small group meetings. Kamp Kirksey has a catfish pond, playground, fire pits, lighted basketball court and a gazebo. There are also 7 recreational vehicle sites; 4 with full hookups and 3 with only electricity and water. Plenty of room fro tent camping. Our favorite Scrapbooking group was back at it again this weekend. They are always such a joy to have at Kamp Kirksey. The dining hall is big enough for everyone to have plenty of room to work, and to catch up with one another in addition to showing off their new projects. These ladies have been meeting on the campground for several years and are looking forward to countless more get togethers!

We want to wish a very special Happy Birthday to Mr. Buddy Rainey! Mr. Buddy has always been passionate about Kamp Kirksey and even helped build the Dining Hall, Bath House, and the Lodge!

Big thanks to Karyl & Jimmy Harris, who take care of our Kamp, and who donated 2 new rocking chairs in the Rainey’s honor today. Mr. Buddy was so excited that he sent Jimmy & Karyl back to pick up 2 more!

We are so thankful for folks like the Raineys and Harrises who love Kamp Kirksey and all that it stands for.

  • the Janey Flint Lodge- 2 dormitory style rooms that each sleep 30 with showers and bath amenities, four leader’s rooms, each with 2 twin beds and a private bath, a beautiful lobby with sofas, tables, and table for 10.

  • Hawthorne Hall- seating for 180, a full commercial kitchen and bathrooms

  • Wilson Chapel- a beautiful chapel complete with large windows and stained glass, an organ and piano. Perfect for wedding ceremonies, worship services, and small group meetings.
