We are co-sponsoring this year's Weatherization workshop on Thursday, 6 Nov from 6-8 pm in the Massry Building, Rm 137 on the Univerity of Albany uptown campus. See attached flier, link for directions and contact info if you have further questions. You can also register with the QR code provided on the flier.
This workshop is designed for landlords, homeowners, and renters. It provides useful tips and information to help you save money on energy costs using eco-friendly heating and cooling practices. Free food and weatherization kits provided.
Maximum capacity is 30 seats and registration is open until 31 Oct.

November EPA Lead Training Schedule

Hello All,

Happy National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week! To mark this important week, I have attached the November 2024 RRP Training Schedule above. As we get into the colder months classes will fill up quickly so make sure to take a look and sign up. In other lead news the NYSDEC is looking for any deer hunters to volunteer for their “Gut Pile Ecology” Project this deer season which is focused on the impacts of lead ammunition on New York State eagle populations. There is a link to the Hunters for Eagle Conservation site which has more information for those interested in the topic.
