Chas’n Eyes was back at it again today with Mr Tony Griffith who has never caught a fish until today. He made it clear that if no fish get caught that it would be his fault.
Well, as you can see, Captain Mark gave Tony a chance and he took advantage of the opportunity to make his dream come true and caught a nice limit of perfect sized eaters. He is now a “professional” and has some fish tales to talk about.
Not sure if I should post this, but you can see where Tony won the “Rubber Chicken” award by allowing a reel to backlash and tangle. He quickly learn to keep the thumb on the spool when releasing it. Wonk wonk wonk. lol 😂

Chas’n Eyes hosted the Hartinger Family in Lake Erie for a wonderful day of walleye fishing around the islands near Port Clinton, Ohio. Due to the weather conditions last week, the fishing was a bit slower, but we did have a steady day of bringing in perfect “eater” sized walleye. Mr Hartinger says “We had a fantastic time. The slower fishing allowed more time on the water and we love being on the water! Thanks for the additional tour around the islands.”
Lake Erie area offers so much to do. Memorial Day is a day to remember the sacrifices that our heroes made for our freedoms. As we boated around South Bass Island, we viewed the amazing Perry’s monument that is a tribute to General Perry as he lead his Navy command to victory on Lake during the War of 1812. God Bless America and thank you to all who served.

. The Robert and Mary Murray family with Son n law and daughter scored big time while fishing with Captain Jeff Owens. Mary says “We had a ball this weekend. Accommodations were great and we really enjoyed Jeff. Can't wait to return and catch that big one that got away.” That’s not one of the tall tales that fishermen are known for as Captain Jeff says that “they did lose a monster and probably would have been the largest one of the year.”

Wow. Wisdom Dock Retreat guests was only a 20 minute drive to hook up with Captain Jeff Owens on Cumberland Lake to haul in this nice catch of Striper bass. Connor, Lloyd, Ian, and Tommy had an awesome experience fishing and comfortable lodging accommodations. Get all hooked up with Striperfun Fishing Charters. Go catch that big one that you’ve been dreaming about.
