In college my roommate realized, sit me in front of a cooking show and soon he’ll have dinner. Apparently this works for painting minis. My husband and I have been watching a mini painting competition and lo and behold, I started painting. These are the third time I’ve painted minis, so I’m pretty new. They are turning out ok, if I do say so myself.

Mental health spoons 🥄
This is what’s left of my mental health spoons. I sold them at NCECA for $42 iykyk
I haven’t been making the same since the conference, still dealing with bumps in the road. I’m making fun things for me and my family. Old projects and fun silly things. I’m cleaning my spoons in some ways.

Coin and Puppet 🪙
I’ve had the outline for this story since 2011. I’ve told a few people it’s outline. Just like me, its darkness is hidden under a veneer of cute and sweet. It’s a story of saving yourself and about autonomy.

In 2020 I started actually writing it. I hyper fixated and wrote for about 2 months and then I stopped. This week, I picked it back up again. I want to finish the book, I want to make the puppet and the coin operated boy. I want to complete the piece. I’m still not sure what all that will entitle.

This is the chess set I started when I was a child, that I had to abandon when our pour shop closed.

30 years later. It’s finally done. They are old Doc Holiday pour molds, done in low fire clay and acrylic.

With World Cup in full swing, this ☕️ I’m looking back to the time when my friend and I did mugs for our local futbol club, . I’ve been a soccer fan for over 15 years and have some of the best seats for season tickets to United. This was so fun to take my fan art in the sports direction.
