Lots of great costumes at the Trick-or-Trunk this weekend. Thank you to all the campers who came and handed out candy to the kids. Everyone enjoyed seeing the decorated golf carts, especially the themed ones. Scooby-Doo with The Mystery Machine and Peace & Love topped the list for our original ideas.
As always the kids enjoyed taking a shot at the pinata 🪅. It’s fun to watch them all attempt to break it open.

This Saturday is Trick or Treat! 👻☠️🎃
11:00 at the Rec. Hall
Campers who will be handing out candy to the trick or treaters should be in front of the rec. hall for 11:00.
There will be pumpkin decorating and a piñata.
Can’t wait to see all the costumes.

Saturday was a perfect day for a BBQ. The weather was great. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the potluck. We had great food and amazing desserts as always.
The waterslide was a hit with the kids. The Island Rush Slide is one of the best slides we’ve had.
The Maple Grove Band put on an amazing show. We always look forward to having them play for us. It was a beautiful night for the band to play in the pavilion!

This Saturday is the Kid’s Egg Hunt at the playground starting at 11:00. We have been working hard filling all the eggs with candy, surprises, and there are eggs with special prizes.

Reminders:
* Let us know if you would like to be put on the list for inside storage of your golf cart or boat. You’re not guaranteed a spot just because you were on the list last year. You do need to let us know each year if you would like storage.

* Next Saturday, August 15th, is our Appreciation Day. Please let us know if you plan on attending the barbecue so we have an approximate number.

*We still have tickets available for the Seasonal Site Drawing. Get your tickets now to win your seasonal site for next year. The winner will be pulled during our band on September 5th.

The Sonny Partlow Memorial Kid’s Fishing Derby had a large number of kids this year. Kids fished from boats and from the docks. As always the kids had lots of smiles and a great time. Thanks goes to the Partlow Family for all the work they do making this event take place for the kids. 🎣 🐠 🚤
