We had two wonderful families stay with us over Christmas and the New Year. Both left us wonderful reviews and we are so appreciative . I am so thankful that we have the opportunity to host families from all over while they experience Asheville. It has been a wonderful experience and we are so excited for 2018 and the opening of Ridgeview Venue, our wedding venue!. Happy New Year everyone!

Last pics until it's complete. I had to post the chandelier pics though...Im so in love with our lighting....absolutely romantic! Will have the cottage on air bnb by the first of Oct.... so excited!

Doors being installed. Trim going up and hardwoods just put in....now to pick a floor stain....I hate this part....light or dark?

We have insulation, sheetrock, and siding...yay! We are getting there. Do you think we can get it finished in 45 days....yikes! Getting close. Now if I only have enough money left over to furnish this place...that's another story.

We are making progress. Plumbing rough in done, HVAC done, electric rough in almost done. Windows are in. Still waiting ...

We are making progress. Plumbing rough in done, HVAC done, electric rough in almost done. Windows are in. Still waiting on siding and doors...but we are getting there....so exciting. Can't wait to share our cottage with everyone. Just a few pics from today.

Just working on a piece for the cottage. I was going to only put fabric in the top but since I busted a mirror getting it out....fabric all around... I actually busted a mirror on the bathroom vanity as well....need to work on patience and delicacy .....anyways, here is the before and after...
