Don’t know where to begin? By stepping through the doors of Rothrock Outfitters, you have found the perfect place to start. Not only can you rent kayaks from them, they are willing to act as a guide, joining you on your new adventure.

Beginning Monday, August 18, the Klingsberg Aviary at Shaver's Creek will be operating under special hours as we complete some routine maintenance to keep our facilities in tip-top shape. These hours will be effective throughout the fall until announced otherwise.

But don't worry: our visitor center, Litzinger Herpetarium, and other outdoor spaces will still be open daily from 10-5, and there is always something to explore!

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we complete this maintenance project.
