of the Rec Room. The previous owners used this as an additional bedroom. Technically this can house another person because the yellow couch is a click clack futon. We wanted this hang out space to be relaxing and moody. We have a vast record collection, a games/poker table and of course a bar. This may be my favorite room in the cottage!! @ Alexandria, Minnesota

Moving upstairs to what we call the “girls room”. I ripped out all the carpet and painted the floors and walls. This room has one of the best views of the lake!

of the cottage kitchen! I had this inspiration pic (last photo) pinned before we even bought the cabin. We were very lucky that the cabinets were relatively new. Paint, laminate butcher block counter, new sink and faucet and new fridge make this my dream cabin kitchen. @ Alexandria, Minnesota

The bathroom This is the only bathroom in the cottage and I wanted to make a big impact. Dark green walls with black and white accents make it feel cozy instead of small. @ Alexandria, Minnesota

Another This is the main bedroom at the cottage. You can see by the design board(third pic) I initially planned on a headboard. The bookcase was too perfect so that’s what we used instead.
