With the upcoming holiday, we wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Labor Day weekend and also give a quick reminder that all services will run a day late next week as we will be closed Monday September 7th in observance of Labor Day and will reopen Tuesday September 8th.

Attention all residents within city limits of the City of Aledo, Villages of Alexis, North Henderson, Rio, Joy l, New Boston and Viola!

We are aware that there have been quite a few residents that have suffered from basement flooding due to all the recent rain we have experienced and would like to extend a helping hand in cleaning up!

We are offering a one-time special pick up to help dispose of damaged items from your basement at a rate of $75 for your first pickup truck bed load and $50 for each additional pickup truck load.

Pick-ups will begin on Monday 8/17 and last throughout the week.

You will need to call, email, or message our office to set this up and payment for the first pickup truck load is required at the time of scheduling. We will have someone available over the weekend to respond to emails and Facebook messages, but no one will be in the office until 8am Monday morning for calls.

Bulk and large item pick up also available to rural customers!

Got a mattress you’re ready to say goodbye to? We offer mattress pick-up services to residents within city limits of Aledo — but you’ll need to schedule it with us first.

📞 Call our office to make arrangements and ensure your pick-up is on the schedule.

✅ Easy. Convenient. Hassle-free.

All pickups will need to be called in by noon on Wednesday to ensure we are able to get you scheduled for pick up on Thursday!

Please remember one large item is included with your service if it is out for pick up for your first collection of each month, but there is an extra fee for pick up any other week of the month!

We hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July this weekend!

As a reminder, our office will be closed on Saturday July 4th and will reopen on Monday July 6th. No routes will be affected by this holiday and all routes will run as scheduled next week.

Additionally, please remember that all fireworks remain hot and smoldering for a significant amount of time after they are out. Do not place them in your trash cans immediately as they are a fire risk. Please soak them with water before they are thrown away.

Heads up, Aledo friends! 🗑️✨ City Clean-Up Days are happening today, tomorrow and next week, and we need your help to keep things running smoothly.

If you’re setting items out for pickup, please bag, box, or otherwise contain all small and loose materials before placing them at the curb. This helps our crews work faster, keeps your streets tidy, and makes sure nothing blows away into your neighborhoods.

Update to previous post regarding Aledo’s Clean Up days!

The division line for North & South side is going to be Main Street.

We will begin pick up on the north side today; the pick up area for 6/15-20 will be on the North side of Main Street to the north edge of city limits.

Next week from 6/22-27 will be the South side of Main Street to the south edge of city limits.

We apologize for the confusion and please feel free to contact us with any questions!

As a reminder to all residents of the City of Aledo, please read and take note of the following information regarding trash and recycling pick up!

-We can only pick up what is inside of your garbage or recycling totes! Any additional items will need to be scheduled in advance and prepaid with our office in order to be collected. You can also obtain either an extra garbage tote or extra recycling tote if needed for an extra cost of $60 per year-this is also done through our office.
