Coconut Show!!🥥🌴

One of the highlights of the Beqa Lagoon Resort cultural experience is our Coconut Show and Coconut Weaving Class, where our local activity guides share the traditional knowledge passed down through generations.

Guests learn why the coconut tree is often called the “Tree of Life” in the Pacific. From harvesting fresh coconuts to demonstrating their many uses, our guides showcase how every part of the coconut plays an important role in island living.

The refreshing coconut water and flesh provide food and drink, while the husk is used for making ropes, mats, and fire starters. The hard shell can be crafted into bowls, cups, and decorative items, and the leaves are skillfully woven into baskets, fans, hats, and other traditional handicrafts.

More than just a demonstration, this hands-on experience offers a glimpse into the sustainable lifestyle and rich cultural heritage of Fiji, where nothing goes to waste and every part of the coconut serves a purpose.

From the breathtaking landscapes of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to the bright lights of Las Vegas, Day 3 was filled with adventure! The ladies explored iconic resorts, enjoyed the spectacular Mystère by Cirque du Soleil, and wrapped up the evening with great food, live music, and a surprise wild rabbit sighting. 🐇✨

The adventure continues for our Beqa Lagoon Resort ladies as they take in even more of the incredible sights and experiences the United States has to offer before the Long Beach Show!

From the breathtaking views of the iconic Hoover Dam to exploring the famous Luxor Las Vegas and New York-New York Hotel & Casino, Day 2 was filled with excitement, discovery, and unforgettable memories. The day wrapped up at the vibrant Fremont Street Experience, where dazzling lights and lively energy created the perfect ending to an amazing day.

Day 1 in the USA – Adventure Begins!

BEFORE taking the stage at the Long Beach Show, our Beqa Lagoon Resort ladies enjoyed an unforgettable first day exploring the American Southwest!

From a scenic road trip through the historic Calico Ghost Town to the vibrant colors of Seven Magic Mountains, every stop brought new sights and experiences. The journey then led them to the bright lights of Las Vegas, where they visited the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign, walked along the famous Strip, and spent the evening at the beautiful Bellagio.

The highlight of the day? The breathtaking floral display inside Bellagio, which left everyone in awe with its beauty and creativity. 🌸✨

For many of the ladies, this is their very first visit to the United States, making every moment even more special. We are so proud to share this journey with them as they represent Fiji and the spirit of Beqa Lagoon Resort abroad.

What an incredible week it has been hosting the wonderful group from Dive World Austin.

Thank you for sharing unforgettable dives, amazing shark encounters, and plenty of laughter with the Beqa Lagoon Resort family. It was a pleasure having you with us.

Part 3: OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED! ✨🎓

Today, we proudly celebrate our Open Water Course Internship Program graduates who are now officially certified divers! 🌊🤿

What began as a journey of learning, courage, and adventure has now welcomed these amazing interns into the scuba family. 💙

Together with their instructors, our Dive Manager, and General Manager, we gathered to officially congratulate them and present their certificates — a moment filled with pure joy, pride, and happiness. 🥹👏

And of course, no celebration is complete without cake 🎂 and a wonderful lunch shared together to mark this special achievement.
Congratulations to Luke, Tava, Moni, and Wise — your underwater adventure is only just beginning! 🌴🐠🐢
