Next year im going to do a couple of baskets that have things geared towards kids to cook with, so if anyone has recipes they'd like to hand down to the kids in the family you can pm Linda Thomas so I can make a small easy cook book to put in the baskets.

WELL IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN NEXT MONTH ON AUGUST 10TH WE WILL BE HAVING OUR ANNUAL Wilkinson/Dickson family reunion AT MILL CREEK CAMPGROUND ON BEDELL ROAD IN THE PAVILLION. IT STARTS AT NOON BUT WE WON'T BE EATING UNTIL AROUND 1:30 SO IF YOU ARE A LITTLE LATE THAT IS FINE. PLEASE BRING A COVERED DISH AND YOUR OWN DRINKS (NO ALCOHOL PLEASE) WE ARE PROVIDING SLOPPY JOE'S AND I BELIEVE HOT DOGS . WE WILL HAVE RAFFLE BASKETS, 50/50 AND MINUTE TO WIN IT GAMES AND CORN HOLE ALONG WITH ATTENDANCE PRIZES WHICH WE ADDED QUITE A FEW FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS. NEW THIS YEAR IS A DICKSON VERSUS WILKINSON VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT WITH WINNERS GETTING A MEDAL AND THE WINNING TEAM GETTING THE SIDE THAT WON ON A PLAQUE. IF YOU ARE A DECENDANT FROM MY PERSONAL FAMILY AND YOU ARE BOTH YOU WILL HAVE YOUR NAME PUT IN A BUCKET AND OUR TEAM CAPTAINS Fred Wilkinson Sr. AND Linda Thomas WILL DRAW TO SEE WHAT TEAM YOU WILL BE ON. ALSO NEW THIS YEAR IS A WALKING POKER RUN WHICH WILL ONLY BE 5 DOLLARS TO PARTICIPATE SO COME ON OUT AND ENJOY THE FUN. ANY QUESTIONS GET AHOLD OF ME. This year the reunion will be held August 10th with camping starting the 8th.
Something new this year is a competition between the Dicksons and Wilkinsons which was brought up by Joe Wilkinson.
We will be having pizza and sloppy Joe's this year.
Remember to bring your cooler with drinks in it and a side dish please.
We need know any accomplishments that have happened so we can congratulate and celebrate with you as a family.
Baskets, 50/50 raffle and games were discussed so bring lower bills.
If you are camping bring quarters for left, right, center for the adults. I'm thinking maybe we should set a separate table up for kids under 13 if others are on board and they can ay with pennies so it's not as expensive on the parents/ grandparents.

I'm thinking maybe we should sell t shirts again throughout the year to give people time to come up with the money so that that can be put towards the reunion funds. Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

I'm already planning for next year!!! We had more attendance this year than in previous years so let's keep those numbers growing! If you have ideas for baskets or games please let us know.
