It was a beautiful clear day at Quail Mountain Lodge. The Hummingbirds were zooming around loving the nice weather and a little nutritional drink.

Look at this sweet baby girl who walked up to our cabin this morning. She’s very thin, hungry and thirsty, but otherwise looks healthy. Newer collar, but without owner information. She is super sweet and loving the attention. We are located in Almond, NC off of Shellstand Road. Please reach out to identify.

Quail Mountain Lodge is a few minutes from the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake and another public lake access spot for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoing. Ridge Runner is nestled on the side of a mountain with woods on three sides of the cabin. There is hiking directly from the cabin.....
