Hidden Pond Homestead

Some people rake the leaves… we make memories in them. 🍂🤎🐮

Just a girl, her cow, and a pile of autumn leaves. The kind of childhood memories you can’t buy in a store. 🥹

And of course, Daisy had to get involved. 😂🍁

This is what I want people to experience at Hidden Pond Homestead. 🤍🐮

Not just looking at farm animals through a fence… but actually sitting in the grass, slowing down, and making memories with them.

My daughter and Daisy spending a quiet afternoon together is one of those little moments that makes me so grateful we built this life. 🥹🌿

I’m working toward opening our homestead for private farm visits and birthday parties, where families can come meet Daisy and the rest of our animals and enjoy a little piece of country life right here in Michigan.

Would your kids love an afternoon like this? 🐮🦢🐓🐔🦆

Follow Hidden Pond Homestead. I’ll be sharing more details soon. 🤍

The feeder is actually for the swans… but they’re messy eaters, so the ducks and chickens have learned to wait for their turn 🦢🦆🐔 Nothing goes to waste around here!

POV: You’re just trying to feed the swans… and suddenly YOU’RE on the menu. 😂🦢

The crunching, chewing and little swan noises = free ASMR.
The finger bite at the end = 😂😂😂

Welcome to life at Hidden Pond Homestead.

Putting the ducks to bed 🦆🌙✨ One last little stroll before everyone settles in for the night. Just another night on the homestead.”

This is such a beautiful little homestead moment. 🥹🦢🐄❤️

The sunset was too pretty not to stop and take it all in… 🧡🌅
And then came the sweetest interruption. 😂
‘Are you ready mother?!’
The kids and Daisy were already waiting on me because apparently it’s WALK TIME. 🐄❤️

This is the kind of life I prayed for. Kids running around barefoot, animals following us down the driveway, and nowhere we need to be except together.

The simple moments really are the best ones. 🥹✨

She’s pretty sure the best part of farm life is fresh grass, a full belly, and taking her sweet time chewing her cud. 😂🌱

And soon, we’re going to be opening up Hidden Pond Homestead for something really special…

🐮 Meet Daisy
🦢 Visit our swans & waterfowl
🐓 Meet the chickens, ducks & geese
