Yesterday morning the sky was telling us that snow was coming. And it did. We got a beautiful 3 1/2 inches of snow that blew in from the east. So the trees are covered in a beautiful layer of snow as is everything else. And since the temperature never got over 31, and is dropping now, the beauty will stay for awhile.
There are times that winter is just beautiful in the mountains!

Merry Christmas everyone from Kim and David. Just a note, if you are renting this cabin and using VRBO, for some reason they seem to have a calendar problem. This month we have had 4 double bookings. Right now we have no days available in December.
If you want to book in January, please contact us first on dates available so we are sure this does not happen again. I am hoping it stops on Jan 1st. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

The deluxe sun room, which we call the "Storm Room" is now completed. It is a short walk from the Tree House and anyone renting our cabin can feel free to enjoy it. There is an outhouse nearby with flush toilet, for use if needed. Sinks too! And the deck on the cliff. Just another addition to our already great cabin.

Fall is coming soon. David has been building a new room to use. It sits near the cliff and can be used to enjoy the scenery when the weather isn't great outside. We call it the "Storm Room" as we were in it the other day working and a huge storm came up. It was amazing being in there as the ceiling is see through and the noise of the rain was amazing. It as like being in a storm safely, hence the name "Storm Room". We have not finished building it but if you are here, stop by and see us or feel free to look at what he is finishing.
