Located less than fifty yards from the Lower Fly Stretch of the iconic Salmon River (Altmar, NY), Salmon River Outfitters is the best lodging option for either the serious or casual angler. The main lodge includes a full tackle shop (both fly and spinning gear), a bar and grill restaurant, as well as a fish cleaning station and smoker on premises. Each room includes its own bathroom, TV, microwave, refrigerator (processed fish can be stored for free in cleaning station) and access to common room and tackle shop. The heart of Salmon River Outfitters is the common room/tackle shop, offering top of the line gear from Okuma, Hodgman, Allen Fly Fishing, Shimano, Fenwick, as well as snacks, coffee and other beverages. The common room is comfortably furnished with a wood stove, ample seating and a 60 inch HD Smart TV. The bar and grill serves delicious, homemade food and cold drinks beginning at 5 AM each morning until close.

We had a cancellation for room 4 primetime salmon that’s got to be 3 persons up to five people for October fifth sixth seventh eighth and ninth. Please call Salmon River Outfitters 315 298 5442 to get this room booked for yourself. It has a kitchen. It’s on the ground floor with a porch a grill. Lower fly zone parking lot reopens tomorrow they’re putting one more coat of asphalt on today. Fish Cleaning station is now open. We started yesterday had a few nice females.
