La Junta Guest Ranch, (pronounced: Lah Hoonta ~ Spanish for The Gathering, or The Board), also known as La Junta Guest Lodge, was established in 1964 in the beautiful mountains of the Alto/Ruidoso, NM area and is now under new ownership and management. We think you'll love the upgrades that are being done and appreciate the quiet serenity of being snuggled into the forest less than 10 minutes from the heart of Ruidoso and only 4 or 5 minutes from the Ski Apache Road turn-off. The Lodge has enjoyed return visitors every year who love the quiet mountain seclusion and quick access to all of the fabulous things that draw people to the cool pines of Ruidoso, such as hiking, biking, skiing, golfing, shopping, dining, fishing, gambling, soaring pines and cooler temperatures. Bring your sports team, family reunion, business group, wedding party, fly solo! We're also a pet-friendly establishment, so ask us about one of our pet-friendly units. The Lodge's Cantina offers plenty of room for your gathering, and has a kitchen for cooking-in, or having it catered. Shoot a little bit of pool, or Foosball in the Main Lodge, put some burgers on one of the outdoor grills, or play horseshoes out in the mountain air.
