For folks coming to Camp Anawanna through Prosperity, Route 221 is closed through September 2026. There are several ways around this, and PennDOT has a posted detour. One easy way to get around this is to go south on Route 19 through Amity, make a right on Hackney Station Road which turns into Plumbsock Road. The camp is just past the Anawanna Hunting and Fishing Club on the right.

Folks, just a reminder about the Camp Anawanna history and hike Wednesday 7/8 starting at 6pm. Registration is open, see the LHC calendar for the link. There will be hot dogs and hamburgers available at 5 pm. Families and friends are welcome!

We received an upgrade on our Campfire Circle benches today. Thank You to the Volunteers who showed today to help. The Order of the Arrow for this continuing project. The American Legion for the material donation in the name of 1stLt James McEwen for whom the Circle is dedicated.

Bethel Park American Legion donated New First Aid kits for our cabins and camp vehicles. OA Lodge Adviser Craig Zender accepted from Financial Officer Mike Shay. Both Mike and Craig are Camp Anawanna Staff Alumni.
