Dunleavy also announced a change in the rules for travelers coming into the state. Out-of-state travelers will be required to produce negative test results from the past 72 hours in order to enter the state, Dunleavy said. Previously those without test results could be tested at the airport and quarantine until their results come back negative.

SELF-QUARANTINE ORDER EXTENDED FOR INTERNATIONAL AND INTERSTATE TRAVELERS INTO ALASKA: State of Alaska Health Mandate 10 requires all people arriving in Alaska, whether they are a resident, worker or visitor, to self-quarantine for 14 days. Upon arrival in Alaska, travelers must fill out a declaration form, list the places they traveled in the previous 14 days and identify the location where they will quarantine. This mandate was updated on May 15, 2020 to extend through June 2, 2020.

If you are coming to Alaska for work and you are considered part of the critical infrastructure work force, you must submit a plan to [email protected]. This plan must outline how you will avoid the spread of COVID-19 and not endanger the lives of the communities in which you operate, of others who serve as a part of that infrastructure, or the ability of that critical infrastructure to function.
