FAQ For Hot Tub
General Questions
Do I need to sign a waiver? Yes, the waiver is a requirement before equipment can be delivered. The waiver address issues for legal, and insurance, and address damages. Similar to when one rents a car, forms must be signed before getting keys to the car rental. The largest rental tub required is 10 feet wide. If you add any additional items, like a privacy wall, y

ou’ll want about 13 feet wide area. We will provide you with instructions, test strips, and the needed chemicals for the time usage you have scheduled. We will even leave behind tools to help clean up any grit, sand, grass, or leaves that might get into the tub. What do I need to do? Be sure there is a water spigot, drain, and three-prong(110V) outlet nearby. Please be home at delivery so you can show us the location and we can teach you about the system. No, you do not need to stand outside while the setup is happening outside of the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes of the setup. Also, be home at the teardown as we will need to have access to the drain location. How many people can fit in a tub? The Large tub can fit 6 people. We recommend 2-4. What do I need to provide? We bring the power cords, heaters, water hoses, and chemicals. We just need the location for the three-prong (110V) outlet, water spigot, and drain. Are tubs inflatable? No, our hot tubs are foam and insulated. We purchase the top-of-the-line product from the distribution company to exceed expectations. How do I control the temperature of the hot tub? The hot tub is set on a digital control that is on top of the pump house. Some enjoy the 90F to 104F as a temperature range. Do you clean the tub after each usage? Yes, we clean as the tubs are being empty and we clean once the tub gets back into the trailer. Then we sanitize the tub before the next delivery. What temperature should the tub be set to? This is a personal preference. Anywhere from 90F-104F is a safe range. Being in Alaska where we are already cold, many prefer the temp to be in the mid-’90s and are satisfied with the results. Is alcohol allowed to be consumed in the hot tub? It is not recommended to consume alcohol when using any hot tub. This is because hot tubs can dehydrate you. It is not recommended that alcohol be consumed in the hot tub and sauna as this could pose a health risk. If you do choose to consume alcohol, do so at your own risk. Hot Tub Delivery Questions
What Is the delivery area? We deliver to Anchorage, Eagle River, Chugiak, Birchwood, Palmer, Butte, and Wasilla. We do not go south towards Girdwood or north towards Big Lake, Meadow Lakes, Houston, or Willow areas. How long is the setup? There are a few variables that make it faster or slower for the setup. We have seen it go as fast as 1 hour to as long as 2.5 hours. Here are the variables that cause it to take longer:
How difficult it is to park the trailer. We prefer the ability to back up into the driveway as close as possible to the location of where the tub will go. How long of a walking path we must walk on with the equipment. The further the walking from the trailer to the tub will add time to the setup. For example, a lot of stairs, the walkway is full of snow, or there are a lot of turns to get to the location. City water vs well water. City water tends to go faster on the water flow than well water. How much water is needed? It takes about 280-300 gallons of water. How long does it take for the tub to heat up? We have a setup where we take the water from any water spigot in the house or outside and we heat the water and then the hot water goes into the tub. We typically can have it set up at or around 90F. Some variables might make the water start at a lower temperature, however, it doesn’t happen that often. Well, Water is typically colder than city water. The city water can sometimes allow the tub water to end up being fully at temp. The Well water sometimes can be less than temp due to how cold the groundwater is. Depending on outside temperatures, it can take about 1 hour to heat the tub from 1F-5F. Where can the tub location be? We can put the tub in many locations around the property as long as we can walk the location from the parking area to the location. We prefer to have a walkway outside rather than walking through the house because water will be on the walking path. You’ll want this location to be within reach (under 50 feet) of a water spigot, three-prong (110V) outlet, and a drain of some kind. The next rule of thumb is you’ll want the area to be flat, level, and items removed such as dog p**p, snow, sticks, or roots. These can get in the way of having level water in the tub which impacts the experience you might have. We have seen people choose to use garages, decks, patios, and grass, under a carport. We prefer to have a clear walkway outside rather than walking through the house. If we must go through a house, all doors must be a minimum of 36 inches wide or we can not fit the tub through the doorways. Can the tub go inside? Yes, but a few things need to be factored into this. Can this area handle a lot of water? Can this area ventilate a lot of moisture? Will the steam from the tub fog windows and doors? During set and tear down, water will be on the ground around this location. Hot Tub Pickup Questions:
What do you do with the water when you pick up the tub? We use a pump to remove all of the water and can dispose of it at a location of your choice, just let us know the location of your choice. Ideas of where you can dispose: tub, garage drain, or boiler drain. Do I need to be at the property at the time of pickup? Yes, it depends. If you have the disposal location behind locked doors, we will need you to provide access so this can be done. We may need to enter the property to reach where the hot tub is currently, so you might need to be available.
