Base Camp Anchorage

Base Camp Anchorage Base Camp Anchorage is a new hostel run by world travelers who are passionate about Alaska and its backcountry, ideally located in midtown Anchorage.

Base Camp Anchorage celebrates it's first season. We will be closed for the winter beginning October 1st through April 2015. We look forward to the Spring of 2015 for another season of community and adventure. Base Camp Anchorage is a new hostel run by world travelers who are passionate about Alaska and its backcountry. Ideally located in midtown Anchorage, we are a short taxi or bus ride from the

airport. We are a perfect base for travelers stopping to rest and explore Anchorage, or for those preparing for a upcoming journey into the wilderness. We are conveniently located a short walking distance from numerous cafés, restaurants, live music venues, and one of the best breweries in town! For travelers looking to explore the Alaska wilderness and in need of outdoor gear, shops like Alaska Mountaineering and Hiking, REI, and Play It Again Sports are all within a five-minute walk from our doorstep.
