Kat Moore from Super Saturated Sugar Strings will be performing at our hostel tonight (Thursday) from 8 to 9pm. Kat is a multitalented vocalist, songwriter, and instrumentalist and we are excited to have her play some of her songs. Our summer music concerts connect our Anchorage community with friends and travelers. Bring your favorite beverage and drop in earlier to catch up with old friends and see our new float tank.

Some of you might remember Wojciech, he visited Alaska to climb Denali in June of 2015. After successfully climbing Denali, he spent some time at Base Camp Anchorage hostel resting his muscles. It was a nice surprise to randomly run into Wojciech on a mountain in Colombia !!! I was getting ready to Paraglide in Roldanillo when he recognized me. What a great gift to run into old friends and guests on the road. Happy flying Wojciech!!!
