Tonight at The Wildbirch, we’re honored to welcome Alaska artist Drew Michael to the Yukon Gallery for an evening celebrating his newest body of work.

A Yup’ik and Iñupiaq contemporary artist and mask maker, Drew brings together traditional forms, modern materials, and deeply personal storytelling through work that explores identity, healing, spirituality, and connection.

Join us tonight from 5–8 PM in the Yukon Gallery to experience the exhibition, meet the artist, and spend an evening surrounded by incredible Alaska art.

This First Friday, the Yukon Gallery welcomes Alaska artist Drew Michael for a solo exhibition of new works.

Rooted in his Yup’ik and Iñupiaq heritage, Drew’s work reimagines the tradition of mask making through a distinctly contemporary lens, weaving together storytelling, identity, healing, spirituality, and the experiences that have shaped his life. His intricately carved works invite us to look beyond the surface and consider the stories, emotions, and connections carried within them.

Join us at The Wildbirch Hotel for an evening with Drew and the opening of his newest body of work.
