Did you know that my daughter, Hannah, and her husband, Walt, have built an off-grid cabin that you can come stay in? It’s very remote, set on the banks of Cottle Creek, there are no other houses anywhere around! And its fully solar powered and has some of the purest well water you've ever tasted! And, if that wasn;t enough, guest at The Lochloosa Cabin have the option to come have breakfast with me! Like the Cottle House, the Lochloosa Cabin stays booked up for months ahead of time. One of the guests at the Cottle House captured this picture of the Aurora Borealis a few nights ago. We can’t see it with the naked eye this far south… but a camera’s lens can grab hold of it! Beautiful!

In the South, we eat outside on the porch a lot! If you come stay at the Cottle House, we might just eat on the porch too. This is my daughter Hannah and her family. She cooked me a delicious birthday meal a few days ago and we had such a good time visiting in the cool of the night air.

So if you come stay with us at the Cottle House, be sure to sit and relax under the night time sky. It’s some of the best relaxation you’ll ever find!
