Take in the View – a stunning panorama overlooking 600 acres of the Flint Hills foothills.

Feed the Buffalo – this working ranch has over 80 head of bison including many newborn calves.

Tour the Ranch House – the original land was owned by Wichita State University art professor Nicholas Trabue. Over the past decade David and Rynthia Mitchell have created a modern ranching paradise. The inspiration for the western-themed, light-filled lodge home came from a mustang ranch in the Flint Hills and early Wichita founder, J.R. Mead’s Journal. Much of the home is constructed from reclaimed materials including 27,000 Buffalo, Kansas bricks salvaged from the old Wichita Municipal Airport tarmac. The walls and ceiling are constructed from beetle-killed lodge pole pine from Colorado. The ranch house is filled with amazing historical artifacts, antiques, period furniture, interesting objects and art.
