The Himalayan Lodge is located in the historic Old West Side neighborhood, just west of downtown Ann Arbor. Kerrytown Market and Shops is a 15 minute walk. The University of Michigan's central campus is a mile from the Lodge and Michigan Stadium is 1.5 miles. You will enjoy this quiet neighborhood near the center of town. All Ann Arbor has to offer is within easy access.

This Saturday, June 21, is Make Music Day, a free celebration of MUSIC around the World! There will be events at the Ann Arbor public library as well as FREE music performances at many Ann Arbor locations.

Kathy Wieland, singer/songwriter (friend and neighbor) will perform on the front porch of the Himalayan Lodge! Kathy plays guitar, banjo and autoharp and writes all her own songs. She is great!! I am a fan! Join us:

What my guests had to endure this summer: a cacophony of road construction. Ugh. All will be happy when those diggers move on... I'm hoping we're a day or two from paving over the mess of gravel, digging dirt and wafting dust - just in time for football season. 🙂
