30-45 minutes from most of the Easy Valley & parts of Phoenix lies Aquila Place a tranquil little family owned and operate micro resort.
We created this self service hybrid stay as a way to experience all of the beauty the Superstition Mountains have to offer. If you’ve ever wandered around Lost Dutchman, caught the mountains volcanic rocks glowing at sunset or been lucky enough to look up an catch the stars out here, then you know how truly magical this area is.

Conceptually, when designing Aquila Place it was incredibly important to us to make the space feel intentional and harmonious with the gorgeous desert landscape. We teetered between wanting to embrace neutrals while still inviting in pops of happy colors that would speak to the natural landscape and create warm interiors that felt alive.

We also loved the idea of spinning in soft Mediterranean details to create an environment that felt like a true escape. Capturing resort and spa vibes while staying comfy and chic.
