Cove Place Cove Place is located on a private beach overlooking Peconic Bay on the North Fork of Long Island. More extensive renovations are planned for the 2013 season.

Kontokosta, also owners of The Harborfront Inn in Greenport (www.theharborfrontinn.com), purchased the inn in May and immediately began renovating and refurbishing the rooms to ready them for the 2012 summer season. Cove Place overlooks Peconic Bay with a 150-foot private beach exclusively for guests. Guests also have access to an expansive dockside lawn complete with picnic tables, hammocks and lounge chairs, perfect for family functions. Featuring 18 rooms, Cove Place offers an affordable and comfortable lodging option with beach access. Rooms range from classic doubles and queens to waterfront bay suites. All room feature kitchenettes, private decks and water views while the bay suites offer a separate sitting room, direct beach access and unobstructed views of the tranquil Peconic Bay. All rooms feature cable TV, flatscreen TVs, ipod docks, wireless high-speed Internet, in-room coffee makers and private bathrooms. Room rates range from $199 - $349 per night. Cove Place is offering an introductory special for first guests: stay two midweek nights and receive 50% off the third night. Cove Place is located less than 2 hours from downtown Manhattan and only 5 minutes from the Riverhead train station. Cove Place is also located within close proximity to several area attractions including award-winning vineyards, Atlantis Marine World Aquarium, Splish Splash Water Park, and the Tanger Outlet Center.. Many area activities are available including swimming, fishing, boating, scenic hiking, bike trails, tennis, horseback riding, water sports, championship golf courses, antique shops and farm stands. Cove Place will also be available for private events.

The North Fork is less than a two-hour ride by car from New York City. Daily service to/from New York City is also available via the Long Island Rail Road and the Hampton Jitney. The North Fork is also easily accessible from Connecticut via the Cross Sound Ferry to Orient Point and from the Hamptons by ferry via Shelter Island
