Commercial Street Icehouse Hosts Free Community Fishing Tournament June 5-6

Aransas Pass, Texas – Commercial Street Icehouse is excited to invite the entire community to its FREE Fishing Tournament on June 5 and 6, offering family fun, friendly competition, and exciting prizes for anglers of all ages.

The event kicks off on Friday, June 5, at 5:00 PM, when 200 youth fishing poles will be given away free to local children, thanks to the generous support of event sponsors. Families are encouraged to arrive early, as poles will be distributed while supplies last.

The fishing tournament continues on Saturday, June 6, with anglers competing for awards in multiple categories. Prizes will be awarded for the largest fish in each species category, and a Grand Champion Trophy will be presented for the largest overall fish caught during the tournament.

Tournament participants should note that the official weigh-in will take place between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Saturday, with winners announced at 5:00 PM.

This free community event is designed to bring families together, celebrate the area’s fishing heritage, and create lasting memories on the water.

Commercial Street Icehouse welcomes everyone to come out, enjoy the fun, and take part in a great weekend of fishing and community fellowship.
