This was for MANY YEARS my life's dream - one of the three MOST REWARDING JOBS I EVER HAD...The pre dawn hours driving up to my building(never actually my building)...was very reminiscent of the very first time I walked into the Inn; the night of hurricane Charlie. It was only a week newly purchased and a disaster. I won't lie - I stood there numb, too numb to cry. Until later...All our HARD WORK, our dreams pulled together and fulfilled by myself, Martha, Chuck, Montana and mostly the finalization vision of the current owner Chris Brown - who has worked MAGIC to make the Inn a true experience- anything we as lovers of the Oak Park Inn PLEASE do...Share on your pages. More photos of the Inn. It seems a tornado came through Downtown, peeling the roof back from the back corner near the Victorian Room and the front of the building surrounding the Suite and Art Deco Room.
The owner, Chris, is doing as well as can be expected. We are grateful for everyone who has done what they can to help today.
