WE ARE OPEN! 😊 For the past two weeks, we have been quietly welcoming guests back through a soft launch while continuing the hard work of cleaning, rebuilding, and getting everything ready.

Now, we are officially open—and we would love to see you!

Things may look a little different. The barn is still at it's “new” location, and there may be a little less merchandise in the store, but Twin Rivers Landing is once again offering the camping, cabins, floats, and river memories you know and love.

Over the past few weeks, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown to the Twin Rivers Landing family. To everyone who donated their deposits, volunteered their time, contributed to the GoFundMe, purchased something from our Amazon wish list, or simply lifted us up in prayer—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support helped carry us through one of the most difficult times we have ever faced.

River is at GREEN FLAG status! This means the river is under 25 cfs. Life jackets are always recommended.
PARKING IS LIMITED. Due to recent flooding, sections of our Day Use is closed, meaning a good portion of our parking is unusable. To avoid crowds or walking long distances to the shut-ins, carpool with friends or visit Monday-Thursday.
For your safety, please stay out of barricades areas.

PARK CLOSURE UPDATE 07/16/26:

The day-use area and campground at Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park will reopen at 8 a.m. on 7/16/2026. The Campground Store and River Store will return to normal operating hours on 7/17/2026.

At this time, the following areas and services will remain closed due to flood damage:

· Multiple sections of the campground trail system

· The Black River Trail connecting the campground to the day-use area

· North Day-Use Area

· Full-Service Cabins 707 – 712

Please be advised that staff is still removing much of the flood debris within the day use. Please do not cross barricades and ropes indicating the closure of an area for your safety.
Also be advised if you plan to visit during busy times such as the weekend, we are about 100 parking spaces shorter than normal. Understand that during high visitation days will require more walking to the shut-ins area. To avoid the crowds, please visit Monday-Thursday.
