October of 2026 we'll be opening to family & friends! October of 2027 to public bookings (We'll shout out an update if it happens sooner). Our plan is to eventually open as a Bed & Breakfast!

Hello everyone! It's been a hot minute since we've given an update.

We are still aiming for availability in late fall of 2026, however! We will be opening as an Air BnB first, to family & friends/ locals to start with as we continue navigating through the bed and breakfast aspect of everything.

We will post availability, if any, after our private offers to family/friends/ locals in late 2026.

We hope to have a more public offering of availability by summer of 2027.

Calaveras Roots is going to be launching a YouTube channel this fall, sharing the progress and daily shenanigans of the property! We're excited about this. Our direction here, is heavily influenced by our passion for World Travel and Hostelling. We're hoping to create a similar feel to what our Travel Agency, Magically Wicked Vacations LLC experiences everytime we visit Jamaica. Here is a video we filmed in Montego Bay, on a weeks stay at Mobay Kotch; A thriving Jamaican Hostel that holds the key 🔑 to our hearts. We have an amazing relationship with Sandals Resorts as well, and have spent a lot of time, blessed at their resorts throughout the Caribbean. We're headed back again in August! Our dream is to offer a hint of both Sandals Resorts and Mobay Kotch, here at Calaveras Roots. Viva Jamaica!

Happy New Year! 🎊 Here's a little glimpse into the Calaveras Roots property views. 🍻 We can't wait to see you all! We've had several inquiries about pre-booking. We should be able to start taking those reservations in April of 2026 for our August of 2026 grand opening. We appreciate the excitement and are working hard to get everything squared away!

Calaveras Roots will open to family and friends, April of 2026. And opens to the public August of 2026! Later than we had hoped, but with the zoning issues we've bumped into, it's going to take a bit longer to get things all squared away.

We can't wait to have a grand opening! Thanks everyone for the love and support on this project.
