The Tailgate Market is a special vendor market happening as part of Tailgate at the Park TODAY, Saturday, September 12th! 🏈🛍️

Beginning at 11 AM, Tailgate Market vendors will be set up on the Preservation Plaza greenspace near the Lakeview Deck.

Come shop a variety of vendors, then stay for food, drinks, college football, family activities, live music, and more throughout the day!

** All Tailgate Market vendors will be located on the Preservation Plaza greenspace. There will be no farmer’s market or market vendors set up on Lake Street**

We will not be having the soup contest this year. (Sorry for the disappointment.) With the tailgate this weekend at the greenspace we decided not to try to compete with that so everyone can go check it out! Then the following weekend we (Jim, Sandi, Kenny & Rhonda) will be gone as we are going to the Hawkeye/UNI game and we don't want to plan an event if we aren't going to be there. It's work getting tables, extension cords and everything set up and we don't want to put that on to someone else. Then the following weekend, many people are closing up or have already closed up so just doesn't work this year. We have done a lot of events this past season. We will see how the tailgate goes and make a decision for next year. We really want to thank everyone for your participation in all our events. It has really been a great year and we give all credit to our wonderful campers! Plan is to shut water off at noon on Sunday, October 11th so you still have time to enjoy fall camping!

Unless the rain stops soon, we are going to move trick or treating to the new shed. Ben is bringing all his food down there right now. We will set up picnic tables for anyone who would like to bring their candy there to pass out.
