the border of Pismo Beach, Edna Valley's wine country, and famous San Luis Obispo, there's so much to do! Hiking, biking, beaches, surfing, kayaking, fishing, yoga, golfing, Cal Poly Performing Arts (PAC), local music events, food events, wine tasting...all just minutes away, yet our semi-rural setting is ideal for tranquil R&R. Hacienda Felise is within a few miles from 30+ wineries and breweries, plus hundreds more in Avila, Paso Robles, Santa Ynez, Santa Barbara. For Cyclists: lots of trails and back roads to ride, or you could even ride to the wineries. And the casita has a large covered area for stowing your bikes!
1.25 hours to San Simeon to see Elephant seals and Hearst Castle.
1 hour to the Danish village of Solvang; in the summer you can enjoy the outdoor theatre. ABOUT US: We are Elise and Frank - lovers of people, travel and adventure, and although we travel the world extensively, we feel there is no better place to call home than California's beautiful Central Coast. With the abundance of local activities, you are likely to spot us out hiking, kayaking, at a yoga class, music event or wine tasting in Edna Valley or Paso Robles. We also enjoy history and exploring archaeological sites, road trips in our trailer, river rafting, canyoneering and rappelling. We love sharing our special haven, tucked back on 3 acres that Frank lovingly tends to, and are here to help make sure your stay in the San Luis Obispo area is both relaxing, and eventful. If you have a question about the area we can point you in the right direction ensuring the best possible experiences.

“If ever there was a place that was the very definition of Zen, it would be Hacienda Felise. The moment we drove through the gate and saw the grounds for the first time, we immediately felt a sense of peace settle over us. The landscape is a gorgeous collection of cacti and other native drought tolerant plants, enhanced by artwork ranging from tile mosaics, Asian statuary and a whimsical mariachi band crafted of sheet metal. The casita itself is done up in Southwest style, featuring prints of many well-known Diego Rivera paintings decorating the walls. It is very comfortable and we could see ourselves living here for weeks at a time! Elise and Frank were perfect hosts and saw to our every need. We were sad to leave but we hope to return soon. The arch over the driveway is inscribed with Namaste. The word distills perfectly how we feel about Hacienda Felise.”
