Trying to remember our little paradise as it was before Hurricane Helene. Our business was performing at its best - new comers, repeat guests and 5 star reviews. We were very proud of the five star ratings we received ever since the day we opened in 2021. We poured our heart and soul into making each one of our bungalows a unique place to stay for our guests. We met so many wonderful guests, all of whom made this experience so fun and rewarding. But now, that's all changed. None of the bungalows are habital at this time. Two of them were completely destroyed as well as our storage unit. It will take some time to get those two back up to par.

It's been a great business experience. But even with all the destruction and hurt, I'm truly thankful that none of our guests had checked in the night of the storm, we were truly blessed for that.

As some of you may have heard, our bungalows were destroyed by Hurricane Helena! To say the least... I'm heartbroken. 💔 What I am thankful for is no one was hurt. It has been quite a fulfilling adventure and I truly want to thank everyone for their encouragement and support from day 1. It was a fun ride. We aren't sure how to process the loss but it will come, we survived and that'swhat matters. I've never experienced anything like this not only at the bungalows but everywhere. I pray everyone is safe and gets through this terrible time. Prayers for all.🙏

The Bungalows were hit pretty hard. We are so thankful no one was on site and that no one was hurt. In the next few weeks we will get a more clear idea of the next steps to clean up the devastation. We thank everyone who has supported this family project over the years and we are terribly sorry to everyone whose reservations had to be cancelled. We appreciate you all.

We are still just trying to process what has happened…

We are so sorry, and heart broken, to report that our Bungalows have been destroyed from the hurricane. It has uprooted very large trees that landed across the units. We have contacted Air B&B, and they should be reaching out to assist anyone with upcoming reservations with an alternative reservation.

Once the area is safe again, we will access the situation further.
