Defined by its elevated A-frame cabins, two-story river lodge, and playful outdoor vibe, the Wrong Way River Lodge & Cabin Campground is an unconventional, outdoor-centered cabin campground that blends the originality and professionalism of an independent hotel with the simplicity and outdoor personality of a traditional campground. The sixteen A-frame cabins have efficient floor plans and simple

amenities that encourage guests to get outdoors... in fact, televisions are intentionally excluded from all cabins. The river lodge is a communal gathering space available to both guests and locals. It includes a gear and provisions store, bar/café, indoor/outdoor lounge seating, conference room, and event space. The property is ideally located on the French Broad River Greenway in West Asheville, being within walking distance of a rock climbing center, public French Broad River access point, and several recreation parks. Guests can literally walk out the front door of their cabin to experience rock climbing, river sports, running, biking, and a host of other outdoor recreation activities. Guests are also within easy biking/rideshare distance from the retail shops, artist studios, restaurants, and pubs of Haywood Rd, the River Arts District (RAD), and downtown Asheville.
