The mission of the Pack Square Park Conservancy is to enhance and protect Pack Square Park as a dynamic community center and vital urban green space celebrating Asheville's unique historic and cultural character. Pack Square Park Conservancy was established in October 2000 by a citizens’ task force that included downtown stakeholders, interested citizens, business owners and elected officials. The

The Pack Square Park project has been carried out with the guidance of a talented volunteer board of trustees.
