Tu comunidad importa. We will never forget the way that our community came together to help one another in the wake of Hurricane Helene’s wrath. It was a beautiful thing in the middle of something very ugly. Hemingway’s Cuba, alongside our community partners, stepped up to nourish the soul of our city. Over the months, we served over 15,000 hearty breakfasts to the displaced FEMA guests at Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville and Haywood Park Hotel & Atrium, then collaborated with American Red Cross and World Central Kitchen to provide dinners. Their stories and gratitude not only helped heal us but also reminded us of the profound connections that food and kindness can create.
As the recovery phase transitions into revival, we are eager to refocus on what makes Hemingway's Cuba a beacon of warmth and enjoyment in Asheville. Stay tuned as we unveil transformations that promise to have us back and better than ever, rekindling the spirit of Cuba. With spring nearly upon us, we're ready to get back to the good times known for full menus, full glasses, and full hearts. ❤
