Fall colors, winding roads, and a little roadside surprise. 🍂🐻

A drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway with a pit stop up Beaucatcher near downtown Asheville comes with plenty of reasons to slow down and take in the view. These playful bear cubs up added a moment we won’t soon forget.

Enjoy wildlife from a distance, give bears plenty of space, and never approach or feed them.

"We recently returned from our 12th visit to the Asheville Cottages. During those visits, we have stayed in five different cottages. They all had one thing in common - they are BEAUTIFUL! Each cottage is immaculate! You can’t go wrong staying in any of them. Also, the grounds around them are lovely with beautiful flowers and plants. It is so peaceful and relaxing. It truly feels like home. I can’t wait to go back!"
