The Pines Cottages is a great place to stay while visiting the Asheville area because we offer more than just a hotel room. Studio, one, two and three-bedroom cottages and log cabins. The Pines Cottages is an original cabin court that has been updated, but has kept the charm of the vintage cottages and cabins with the comforts of modern life. We are pet-friendly and are located on 4 1/2 acres with

mature trees and gardens, yet only minutes from downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

A little morning in the garden 🌿

One of my favorite parts of owning The Pines with my husband, is getting my hands in the dirt and caring for the spaces our guests enjoy. There’s something so rewarding about watching things grow, whether it’s a garden, a cottage, or a dream you’ve poured your heart into.

Every season brings something new, and right now the flowers are putting on quite a show. 🌸

One thing about owning a small boutique hotel… there’s always a project. 😅

Today it was a drawer that decided it had other plans.

Most guests see the cozy cottages, fresh linens, and peaceful mountain mornings. Behind the scenes, it’s a lot of troubleshooting, fixing, cleaning, and figuring things out as we go.

Another fun weekend of check-ins is underway, and we’re reminded once again that owning a small boutique hotel is never boring.

Between welcoming guests, tending to the gardens, and putting the finishing touches on little details around the property, there’s always something to do—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We’re looking forward to another beautiful weekend here in Asheville and helping our guests make the most of their mountain getaway.

There’s something special about a boutique stay.

One of our favorite parts of owning The Pines is dreaming up little details that make your time here feel more personal and memorable. Right now, we’re creating an herb garden for our guests to enjoy. Need a sprig of rosemary for dinner? A little thyme for your morning eggs? Help yourself.

We’re also working on curated picnic baskets that you can take out onto the property, enjoy by the creek, or bring along on a Blue Ridge Parkway adventure.

For us, hospitality is about more than a place to sleep. It’s about creating small moments that make you feel at home while you’re away from it.
