The Bunn House was built in 1905 by Albert Bunn, a brick manufacturer, and contractor from Birmingham, England, who lived with his wife and three children in the house. Robert D. Bunn, Albert’s youngest son, owned and operated Bunn Antiques in downtown Asheville for many years. After Robert’s death, his wife, Fannie Bunn, took over the home and lived there until 2011. The large brick home sits on 1.3 acres, surrounded by mature trees and nestled in an idyllic setting only two blocks from downtown Asheville. The location of the home allows for a close connection to the vibrant downtown while offering a quiet, neighborhood feel.
