A new chapter for two of downtown Asheville’s most distinctive hotels. We’re excited to welcome Aaron Hammer as Dual General Manager of Aloft Asheville Downtown and Moxy Asheville Downtown.

Aaron brings more than 20 years of experience leading teams across luxury and high-volume hospitality environments, with previous leadership roles at Legacy Hotel and Lodge Kohler, Azamara, Yosemite Hospitality, Treasure Island Las Vegas and Caesars Palace.

In his new role, Aaron will oversee operations across both hotels while working closely with each team to continue building on what makes Aloft and Moxy unique.

We’re excited to have him leading both properties and look forward to what’s ahead.

Please join us in welcoming Aaron to Asheville. 🎉

Next up: fall in Asheville. 🍂⚡️

Cooler nights, changing leaves, live music, downtown wandering and a room right in the middle of it all.

October is one of the best times to be in the Blue Ridge — and Moxy makes a pretty good home base for doing it your way.

Grab your people. Book the room. We'll see you downtown.

Thursday sounds better with live music. 🎸

Dan Shearin, of River Whyless, is back at Moxy tonight from 8–10 PM, and your only job is to grab a drink and find a spot.

No cover. No big production. Just live music + a night downtown.

📅 Thursday, September 17
⏰ 8–10 PM

See you tonight. 🍸🎶

High fives all around at Moxy Asheville! 🙌🏆

We’re proud to share that Moxy Asheville has earned the 2025 Bronze Circle Award, part of Marriott’s Awards of Excellence.

This recognition celebrates strong performance in guest satisfaction and loyalty, and it truly wouldn’t be possible without the incredible crew who brings the Moxy experience to life every day.

A big high five to our team, and a huge thank you to every guest who stays, plays, and hangs with us. 🖤

Come for the room. Stay for everything happening downstairs. ⚡️

Cocktails, games, music, new friends and the occasional night that lasts a little longer than expected.

That's kind of the point.
