Meet Joseph Morris, our Guest Services Manager and a familiar face at check-in. When he’s not welcoming guests to Kimpton Hotel Arras, you’ll find him exploring his hometown of Black Mountain, just 20 minutes east of Asheville.

From favorite hiking trails to local spots for shopping and dining, Joseph is sharing a few of the places that make this little mountain town so special. Among his must-visits? Louise’s Kitchen for the famous Big Boy Burrito and Merry W**e Market, which happens to be where he got his first job out of college. 🍷
