The purr of the engines filled the South Slope this past Saturday. 🏁

Vintage & classic cars lined the streets as the Chrysler 300 Club International made its way through downtown. From gleaming chrome and custom paint jobs to iconic designs from decades past, there was plenty to admire.

Ever wanted to experience Asheville from a different era?
Cedar Crest Inn guests now receive an exclusive discount with Mountaineer Motor Tours, founded by Asheville native Heath Towson, who brings the city's history to life through small-group tours in a fully original 1923 Ford Model T.

No modern upgrades, just a 100-year-old car and an open-air ride through the streets, and landmarks that shaped Asheville.

Tours run 1.25-1.5 hours, and each guest takes home a Mountaineer Motor Tours souvenir.
