Vicki and Greg enjoyed, loved, appreciated...how many ways can we throw accolades at our many (close to 25,000!!)...guests we hosted since opening in late 1982! So many changes have happened over the years at the inn, thanks in large part to the many suggestions and comments guests have made during their stay. It always made me smile when returning guests commented about the changes they noted upon their arrival.

We look forward to visiting with you in our 'new home' when you are in town or hosting you in our Suite At 59. Please give us a call at 541.601.7650. It was a joy sharing this lovely home with our guests, along with the caring and concierge service we were honored to provide since 1982!

As word of our retirement from full time innkeeping spread, we received many lovely notes and gestures of appreciation from long time guests. Thank you!

Oregon Shakespeare Festival has announced the play schedule for their 2025 90th Anniversary season. Nine plays will run from March 7 through October 27, 2025. The season calendar reflects a return to the past years of long (and successful) seasons of top notch plays. As in the past, some plays will be on during the first months of the schedule, with new plays starting mid summer through the end of the season. The Bowmer will feature JULIUS CAESAR and THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST the entire season. Do NOT miss August Wilson's JITNEY in the Bowmer March 9-July 20! The Elizabethan will feature THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR and INTO THE WOODS. In addition, the very popular Green Show will run May 30-October 11 Tuesday-Saturday.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival's new artistic director, Tim Bond, is assembling a leadership team with strong Seattle ties to help guide the storied company on its continued road to recovery.

It's OFFICIAL, Vicki and Greg have retired and closed the Iris Inn. Thank you to our many guests for 41 years of wonderful!

The Iris Inn closed at the end of 2023 for a well-deserved retirement for the innkeepers. Vicki and Greg enjoyed, loved, appreciated...how many ways can we throw accolades at our many (close to 25,000!!) guests we hosted since opening in late 1982!

So many changes have happened over the years at the inn, thanks in large part to the many suggestions and comments guests have made during their stay. It always made me smile when returning guests commented about the changes they noted upon their arrival. Especially if it was their suggestion!

For our guests making plans to enjoy the reinvigorated 2024 Oregon Shakespeare Festival, we highly recommend our longtime lodging partners at Stay Ashland to find a bed and breakfast for your desired dates.

It was a joy sharing this lovely home with our guests for 41 years. During January and February, we have had the pleasure of moving into the inn to make it our retirement home.

Our former owner's apartment will be ready to accommodate a couple or small family by mid-March 2024. Reservations can be made by calling Vicki (541.488.2286) or email ([email protected]). It will be self-catering...Vicki made her last 'guest' breakfasts in December!

As word of our retirement has spread, we have received many lovely notes and gestures of appreciation from long time guests and the local business community. Vicki was honored by the Ashland Chamber of Commerce with the Visitor Industry Leader of the Year 2023 award in October, 2023.

With love and gratitude, our goal was to provide Concierge Service with a B & B Touch, for our loyal guests.

Warmly, Vicki and Greg

Introducing Karen Staal Studio, one of this year's Participating Studios in Ashland Open Studio Tour! 😀

Specializing in a contemporary style of the human figure, Karen's main purpose in painting is to achieve a spatial harmony that is satisfying to view. Rather than depicting people exactly as they are, instead, she interprets them by creating new harmonies with line, shape, and color. More recently, Karen has been experimenting with abstraction and loose brush strokes while continuing to incorporate the human figure.

Ashland Open Studio Tour is free and open to the public and will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and October 22, from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Ashland, Talent, and Phoenix. In the coming days, we will continue to highlight other artists and their studios. For more information, please visit www.ashlandopenstudiotour.com

Introducing Silver Rock Design, one of this year's Participating Studios in Ashland Open Studio Tour! 😀

Creating one of a kind pieces with an earthy and enduring quality, Elizabeth's designs are focused around her own custom cut cabochons that she hand fabricates in sterling silver using traditional silversmithing techniques. Basically self-taught, her exposure to the lapidary world began years ago with her rock-hounding dad in Eastern Oregon. Later in life, Elizabeth discovered a familiar passion for rocks and since then, has been producing and selling jewelry for over fourteen years.
