Today I had the pleasure of joining the Country Willows kitchen crew and getting back to one of my favorite places to be — the kitchen — this time making focaccia bread!

For those who may not know, I spent a few years managing Country Willows, and although I’m no longer running the day-to-day operation, I still stay connected and help behind the scenes. So walking back into that kitchen, putting on an apron, and actually getting my hands in the dough again felt pretty darn good.

There’s just something about working alongside a kitchen crew, creating something from scratch, and filling the kitchen with the smell of freshly baked bread that never gets old. 🥖 Thanks, Alex, for letting me play in the kitchen

I may be semi-retired, but apparently the baker in me didn’t get the memo. 😉❤️

And yes… focaccia may just have to make another appearance!
