Ice Cave Night Tours Start This Friday, February 27
We are now operating again from our Washburn, Wisconsin location. We are no longer launching from Herbster. These tours take place in Chequamegon Bay.
For one week only we temporarily used Romans Point during week for one week. There is now no safe ice remaining at Romans Point, so those tours are finished and will not continue.
Recent snowfall has allowed the trail to be groomed, slush is disappearing, and the cave formations are improving daily. We expect excellent conditions beginning Friday night in Chequamegon Bay, when the caves glow after dark with crystal formations and color.
Night tours run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. Based on lake and weather patterns, we expect roughly two weekends of operation before conditions change.
If you have been waiting for the right time, this is it. Once the lake shifts, the season ends.
