Small business groups, like “Independent We Stand,” engage in grassroots efforts to protect the historic character of cities & towns and work to promote growth, development and awareness for these areas.

Just 5 minutes down the road from Edge-O-Town Motel, Ashtabula Harbor’s Bridge Street won “America’s Main Street” contest put on by Independent We Stand in 2018. This highlights one of the great destinations Northeast Ohio has to offer.

The Edge-O-Town Motel, located in Ashtabula, is 35 miles from Mentor, 50 miles from Cleveland and 45 miles from Erie, PA. Ashtabula is becoming the weekend destination for residences and nearby cities. In addition, beautiful Lake Erie is just 2 miles from our motel!
