Camp Jack

Camp Jack Camp Jack is a six-week day camp for kids with Type 1 Diabetes, along with their family and friends.

The Jack Rua Camp for Children with Diabetes serves the communities of Greater Fall River and New Bedford, which includes Fall River, New Bedford, Acushnet, Assonet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Somerset, Swansea, Wareham and Westport in Massachusetts and Little Compton and Tiverton in Rhode Island.

Lions, and campers, and dogs, OH MY! 🐶🦁

There’s something special about seeing familiar friends show up for Camp Jack year after year!

We’re so grateful to the members of Lions District 33 S, Massachusetts, USA, District Governor Jesse Armell, and Southeastern MASS Paws of Comfort Lions Club for spending time with our campers and continuing to support the Camp Jack community. Their commitment to supporting diabetes education and care makes their partnership especially meaningful to us.

Our campers had plenty of smiles for the Lions, but Luna and Quinn, the comfort dogs, brought some extra tail wags and cuddles to the day! 🐶🐾
