To all the friends of the Grasshopper Lodge,

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of the founder and creator of Grasshopper Lodge, David Greenberg. He loved the cabin so dearly. It was the crowning achievement for him on an already incredible life full of family, friends, and experiences. He poured his heart and soul into maintaining and caring for the property, and hearing how much you all loved staying there brought him infinite joy.

The Lodge will continue to operate, and I, his son Rafi, who also love the cabin dearly (and helped in some of the building) will do my very best to keep the same spirit of the cabin experience that my Dad did so amazingly.

Thanks to all the cabin lovers, lake enjoyers, and forest dwellers who have shared the Grasshopper Lodge over the years. And here's to many more in the future.
